In a bid to encourage youths and school children to join and belong to uniformed voluntary organizations, the Lagos State Government recently organized a Performance Evaluation Exercise to rate the various uniformed voluntary organizations and how they are impacting on the youths. In this year's evaluation, The Scouts from the Itire Nursery and Primary School, - (1st Itire Ikate Scout Group) bagged the 1st place to emerge the overall winner in the Lagos State Govt 2017 Performance Assessment for Uniformed Voluntary Organization for the Primary School Section. The Award was presented by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State at the Police College Ikeja on Tuesday 22 June 2017.
