DATE--- 21/06/2017 We celebrated International yoga day at shivamogga District Scout Bhavan, organised by Shivamogga District Association and Local Association. Around 200 scouts and guides participated. Sri Aravind ji, yoga master, inaugurated and gave info on yoga day and made the children practice few asanasas. Essay competition was also held on the occasion. A valedictory function was also held, which was presided by Sri H D Ramesh Shastry, DCC, Sri S. Umesh Shastry DC(S), Sri K P Bindukumar, Dist Secretary, D N Noor Ahmed, LS Sec. Sri Deep P S, LA treasurer, scouters and guiders were present. I welcomed the gathering. Smt Bharati Dias conducted. Sri H Shivashankar DO announced the prizes. Deepu P S Patel proposed vote of thanks. Program concluded with National Anthem. Malnad open group rover's and rangers rendered service.
