On 21st September, Shumar Primary School observed the International Day of Peace with meaningful activities for our scouts, highlighting harmony, cooperation, and kindness. The Cheychey Scouts took part in a Mindful Art and Craft session where they expressed their ideas of peace through colorful drawings and creative crafts, learning how art can reflect inner calm and unity. At the same time, the Nachung Scouts engaged in Backwoodsman Cooking, preparing simple dishes in groups using traditional outdoor methods, which encouraged teamwork, patience, and sharing. The day was filled with joy, creativity, and cooperation, reminding everyone that peace is not only the absence of conflict but also the practice of kindness and togetherness in everyday life.
