The Youth Empowerment Programe, is to empower young people from deprived regions and help them develop a 'Peace Spirit' attitude. First, we had a 2-days training for the young leaders and rover scouts, as they will help in the realisation of the projects. then we had a 2 more days training in dialogue for the youth from deprived region. through games, groupwork, brainstorming, they will develop awareness about social evils, how to avoid these. the courses given will arouse solidarity, team spirit, and more values among them. the youth will then carry out a community service in their locality, i.e an Environment Awareness Day. a day, during which they will make inhabitants realise the importance of cleaning the environment. the young people will also collect used batteries and clean public places overthere. Finally, each youth will receive a certificate for completing the YEP.
