We are Scouts, the Messengers of Peace!
We support the good cause of WOSM for promoting international peace and unity of Scouts in our community. We aim to provide a platform to plant at least two seedlings and nurture them until they are fully grown. Furthermore, this activity helps to maintain & restore an environment that reflects in a safe & healthy community.
We conducted a dance contest to showcase everyone's talent & convey the message of peace through this with the goal of uniting all the contestants despite their differences.
The first project, tree planting was implemented at Sinalhan Integrated High School and the second project (Dance Contest) was implemented at Santa Rosa Elementary School - Central II respectively. This was done with the help of the Local Council Executive Board, Local Government Unit, Scouts, volunteers and Adult Leaders who are active in Scouting. The barangay and schools in our area also helped to make this activity successful.
Tree Planting helped contribute to the sustainable and peaceful future. It brought the Scouts and Scouters together to experience community and strengthen their sense of global responsibility.This activity could also inspire organizations & the youth,to become active citizens,with a possibility to join hands together for a more peaceful future. The messages they exhibited during their performances were proof that no matter their differences, they share the same message; End racism. Build peace.
learn to socialize with other Scouts so that the outcome of the project will be more productive. Explain the importance of the activity/project to emphasize the benefits it brings to everyone.
