To encourage the youth to come more close to nature, the Scout Wing of the First Calcutta District Association had organised a Tree Plantation programme for the Cubs and Scouts. The children reported at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 6th September, 2014 at St. St. Xavier’s Collegiate School. Cubs and Scouts of various units in the District had participated and planted more than fifteen saplings. Mr. Nauzer M. Batlivala, District Treasurer explained about the necessity of tree planting. The Programme was conducted by Mr. Rajendra Kumar Das, District Organising Commissioner (S).
