Throughout the world, 5th of June is celebrated as the ‘World Environment Day’. To commemorate this day, the Guide students of DAV,Airoli conducted a note worthy environmental related activity on the pleasant morning of 5th June, with dark clouds looming large, heralding much awaited monsoon to beat the record breaking, scorching summer heat. Through this activity, these students tried to set an example for the people who exploit environment for their ulterior motives. Guide Captain, Mrs. Pushpa Jagtap and few teachers. This whole activity was accompanied by a thought provoking song sung by the Guide students about the plight of mother earth due to the effects of global warming.
