Sharing takjil in the month of Ramadan

Scout members SMPN Satap 7 Tanjab Timur prepared simple takjil packages such as dates, mineral water, and snacks to be distributed to motorists, palm oil truck drivers, and people who were still on the road as it was approaching the time to break the fast.

First, we held a meeting with the team to plan the activity, determine the location, schedule, and the number of takjil packages to prepare. Next, we prepared the takjil packages together, which included drinks, dates, and light snacks. On the day of the activity, we gathered at the selected location before the time of breaking the fast. After the distribution, we conducted a short evaluation to discuss what went well and what could be improved in future activities.

Throughout this project, we learned many valuable lessons, both personally and as a team. One of the most important lessons was the value of empathy and caring for others. By distributing takjil to people who were still on the road during the time of breaking the fast, we realized that small acts of kindness can bring happiness and relief to others.
