Cubs in our pack collected books as well as toys, puzzles, games and posters suitable for pre-schoolers, over a period of 6 weeks. Awareness was also created in the wider community for the need for items, and more items collected. Three needy Early Learning Centres were identified in our community, and the collected items donated to these. The items were delivered by the pack during a pack meeting. We spent time at each of the schools while cubs read to the pre-schoolers and played with the children.
