San Vicente Elementary School supports National Disaster Risk Consciousness Month
Risk Management is a systematic use of management policies and processes designed to identify, analyze, evaluate and treat risk, and develop a culture that is mindful of potential opportunities and adverse effects.
In support to the National Disaster Risk Consciousness Month, with the theme, “Ligtas na Bayan, Maunlad na Pamayanan”, an earthquake drill was conducted on July 8, 2014 at San Vicente Elementary School. The drill was led by the school personnel, boy and girl scouts and the SPG Officers. The pupils were oriented on what should they do when an earthquake occurs. A lecture-demonstration on the emergency rescue and transfer and first aid by the scouts.
Furthermore, a conduct of Disaster Risk Management lectures and demonstrations of scouts to their schoolmates every Friday afternoon for the whole month of July.
