A Renewed Commitment to Interamerica’s Youth
At the start of a new triennium, the Interamerican Scout Committee saw an important opportunity to come together, build a shared vision and define how it would serve the Region. The meeting reflected a renewed commitment to strengthen collaboration, support National Scout Organizations and help Scouting respond to today’s challenges with unity and purpose.
The Committee held its first in-person meeting in Panama City, where members combined induction, strategic reflection and team-building. Over three days, they aligned priorities for the years ahead, adopted key decisions to guide their work and strengthened the foundations for collaborative leadership across Interamerica.
This experience reaffirmed the value of creating intentional spaces for shared reflection, trust-building and strategic alignment at the beginning of a new leadership term. It also highlighted that strong collaboration, clear priorities and a common sense of purpose are essential to support a more connected, safe and impactful Scout Movement across the Region.
