Projet Green Hands - (The Tree Plantation Project)

The Plantation Project was inspired by Scouting values, SDGs, and the impactful initiatives of my troop and other communities. Witnessing collective efforts for environmental conservation motivated me to contribute. This project aligns with SDG 13 and 15, fostering biodiversity, combating climate change, and empowering scouts to protect nature for future generations.

I executed the Plantation Project by coordinating with 14 scouts and 30 Army soldiers, ensuring effective collaboration. Tasks were clearly assigned, with soldiers digging pits and scouts planting 140 trees. Logistics, such as travel and accommodation, were efficiently managed. Regular communication and teamwork ensured smooth execution, achieving the project’s environmental goals successfully.

From the Plantation Project, I learned the importance of teamwork, environmental stewardship, and sustainable practices. Collaborating with scouts and soldiers taught me leadership and coordination skills. I gained insight into how reforestation supports biodiversity, prevents soil erosion, and combats climate change, reinforcing the value of collective action for a greener future.
