Project Rucksack

Lisnaskea Explorers and Network are doing two Community projects codenamed Project Rucksack and Project Schoolbag. Project Rucksack details are on the link. Project Schoolbag is similar but using schoolbags and collecting teddy bears, blankets, school supplies, toiletries and stationery. The Rucksacks will be distributed in Belfast (I've checked with various agencies and support is in place for anyone currently homeless in Fermanagh). Schoolbags will be distributed through Women's Aid in Enniskillen. • A sleeping bag • A woolly hat • Gloves • Scarf • Underwear • Socks • A fleece • A Thermos flask (leave this empty) • A few tins of soup with ringpulls (easy to open) or powdered soup • A spoon • Rucksack • Schoolbag • Blanket • Teddy Bear or soft toy • Stationery Try to ensure clothing is Unisex and medium in size as many homeless people are underweight OTHER POPULAR ITEMS TO ADD • Extra food - High carbohydrate foods are best • Books • Toothbrush and Toothpaste • A basic First Aid kit (no medicines) • Pet food • Bivi Bags (a special plastic bag to put the sleeping bag in) Project Rucksack information
