This year's 80km Senior Scouts expedition was participated by 75 senior Scouts from various Scout groups in the Petaling District. This time, these Scouts had a very different experience in which they explored some parts of the Petaling Jaya which they have not been to before and visited various NGOs and public places to complete their tasks whilst en-route from to their daily overnight checkpoints. As per the previous years, this expedition is a 4 days and 3 nights event and is catered for these senior Scouts who are aspiring King Scouts for 2018. As part of their journey towards achieving the highest Scouting award for those in the schools, this expedition serves as a pre-qualifying round and a test of the Scout's physical and mental limits where they (those who passed the expedition) will eventually go for their King Scout standardization examination in 2018.
