My High School Scout Master Mr. Choo Puay Hin, who is over 60 years old took initiative to paddle Bicycle on his own solo trip to circle the whole Peninsular Malaysia. It took him nearly a month (30 day) to finish the whole trip, which is about 2200KM. Every day cycled for about 74.4 KM. During the trip he enjoyed chit-chatting with local people and also other cyclists traveling from Europe and Russian to Malaysia. The main motives for him is to ask the community that he travel to to show care and possibly give some donation to Chinese independent schools, especially this time is for Pontian Pei Chun. Under the United Nations spirit, every one shall have a chance to be educated in his/her mother tongue to attain literacy. We Rover Fox Johor Bahru, Scout members assisted him, and coordinated for this tour. We listened to his briefing, saw him off, and during the trip, we FB him and call him to ensure he was ok. We donated nearly MYR 20K for this meaningful event. We welcome his returned and he gave a sharing talk on 16 Apr 2016. We admired his courage.
