Pangalengan Scouts Waste Awareness Day Action
Based on a circular from the West Java Scout Movement Regional Quarter number: 47 /09-D dated 20 February 2024 regarding the National Waste Awareness Day Movement and Baden Powell Day, that in the framework of National Waste Awareness Day which is celebrated every February 21 and Baden Powell Day February 22, Pangalengan District Branch Quarter held Waste Care and Community Social Services throughout the Front Cluster in Pangalengan District.
This activity lasted for 3 days from 21 February to 23 February 2024. More than 10,000 scout members from 187 Front Groups / Schools in Pangalengan sub-district participated. This activity is carried out simultaneously in the community surrounding each school
In Scouting we are taught to always care about the environment and serve the community and its benefits are felt by the community. and it is also our guideline, namely one of the 2nd dharma principles "Love of nature and compassion for fellow human beings" our duty is to carry out and implement the guidelines to benefit those around us.
