Hospital fire extinguishing and patient rescue
Assisting the fire department in extinguishing fires is a humanitarian act. It has a positive impact on a community. Being able to provide invaluable services to people who are burned, preventing fires, extinguishing fires and then providing medical assistance is the responsibility and duty of Rover Scouts. Finally, fire department volunteers can help build community spirit and increase social engagement through this work.
There were approximately 600 patients inside the Khulna City Medical College Hospital when the building caught fire. I and other Rover members of my unit risked our lives to safely evacuate the patients from the building. By working tirelessly from 10:45 pm to approximately 2:50 am, we were able to safely evacuate all the patients. By participating in the rescue operation, I was able to satisfy my inner self by taking out the patients in danger.
I, along with 10 other Rover Scouts, joined 12 units of the fire brigade to put out the fire at Khulna City Medical College Hospital. By volunteering to help firefighters, I have had the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives and be part of a team dedicated to helping and protecting others. I have not only gained valuable experience and skills but also had the opportunity to build strong friendships with other volunteers and make a lasting impact on our community.
