Polythene bags have harmful effects to the environment. Platic bags tends to disrupt the environment in a serious way. They get into soil and slowly release toxic chemicals. They eventually break down into the soil, with the unfortunate result being that animals eat them and often choke and die. Being a responsible citizen , I want to be a part of the solution and not a part of the pollution. So I choose rather than using polythene bags for marketing and other purposes I will sew my own cloth bag of the old cloth in my house and use it . I know its not a big step but with small and easy steps we can ensure that terrible scenes of plastic pollution do not happen. It is surely our responsibility to do everything within our power to create a planet that provides a home not just for us, but for all life on earth. By this I also recommend everyone that its not a big task to do and each one of us make a difference, together we can make a change and beat the plastic pollution.
