On 5th October 2019, Saturday, we organized and ran our second blood drive which began at 1300 hours at the National Thalassemia Centre.  

Eventhough it was raining throughout the event timings, 40 volunteer donors attended, out of which, 19 volunteers of different blood groups were able to donate, 1 pint of blood each, which would cater to the blood needs of 57 thalassemia individuals. We had our donors sign and submit a slip for photo consent along with the donation application form.

We closed our blood drive at 1800 hours, however, volunteers came to donate till 1840 hours.
