Senior Scouts of Tacloban City Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines participate in the forest tree planting activity by the local Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at Burayan Beach, San Jose, Tacloban City. The Scouts together with all other volunteers and local personnel of BFP and PNP (Philippine National Police) planted almost a thousand mangrove tree saplings in hopes to reduce the devastating inpacts that could be brought about by storm surges and other water-related natural disasters.
