Ekattur Open Scout Group is very much delighted for organizing the event "Inter-Unit Online Debate Competition 2020" first time in the history of Scouting and one of its kind successfully from 01-09 May, 2020. Where the seat of the Chief Scout Personality was embellished by the honorable President of Bangladesh Scouts, Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad. We received a great response from the units. We had 32 teams from the Rover Scout section across the country. Though all the members were not at the same place due to this epidemic situation, they all participated from their home with great enthusiasm from all over the country. The event was partitioned into 5 Rounds naming 'Ovvutthan', 'Sangram', 'Mukti', 'Swadhinata' and 'Bijoy' as Ekattur Open Scout Group holds unto the cognition of the Liberation War of 1971. All the teams from both sections gave great fights to hold the glory of the champion by defeating others with logics and strategy. After all, as this is a competition, only one can be the champion and hold the title. We got Shwadesh Open Rover Scout Group from the Rover Scout section as the Champion. Simultaneously, Sylhet Govt. College Rover Scout Group from the Rover Scout section completed this event as Runners-up. Our honorable Chief Scout Personality Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad has given his regards to our event and to the participants. And also congratulated the winning team. Congratulations to the winners, runners-up and all the participated teams for your great debate. We humbly convey our gratitude to all our adjudicators who contributed to this event by providing their intelligence along with their great judgment to sort out the teams and to have a proper result. They also gave guidelines to all the teams how they can go further for their success. Lastly we thank you all for being with us at that time. It is you who made this possible. Without your contribution, without your enthusiasm our event would have ended up in vain. Wishing everyone's good and sound health. বাংলাদেশ স্কাউটস এর ইতিহাসে "আন্তঃ ইউনিট অনলাইন বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২০" এর মতো একটি ব্যতিক্রমধর্মী আয়োজনের কর্ণধার হতে পেরে 'একাত্তর মুক্ত স্কাউট গ্রুপ' অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত। গত ০১-০৯ মে, ২০২০ আয়োজিত হয়ে গেলো "আন্তঃ ইউনিট অনলাইন বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২০"। এই অনলাইন বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতাটিকে আমরা ৫টি পর্বে ভাগ করি যেখানে পর্বগুলোর নাম ছিল মুক্তিযুদ্ধের আলোকে। যেহেতু একাত্তর মুক্ত স্কাউট গ্রুপ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাকে বুকে ধারণ করে এগিয়ে চলছে সেহেতু প্রতিটি পর্বকে আমরা মুক্তিযুদ্ধের আলোকে যথাক্রমে 'অভ্যূত্থান', 'সংগ্রাম', 'মুক্তি', 'স্বাধীনতা' এবং 'বিজয়'। সারাদেশ থেকে ৩২টি রোভার স্কাউট দল আমাদের এই আয়োজনে অংশগ্রহণ করে। মজার বিষয় ছিল দলের সদস্যরা কেউ ছিলো দেশের একপ্রান্তে তো কেউ ছিল দেশের অন্যপ্রান্তে। অর্থাৎ যে যার যার অবস্থান থেকে এই প্রতিযোগিতায় সামিল হয়। আমাদের সম্মানিত বিচারকগণের নিকট আমরা চিরকৃতজ্ঞ থাকবো কেননা তাঁরা এই কঠিন পরিস্থিতিতেও নিজেদের অবস্থান থেকে আমাদেরকে এই বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা পরিচালনায় সহায়তা করেছেন। আমাদের অংশগ্রহণকারীদের সাথে আমাদের সম্মানিত বিচারকগণের একটি মিল ছিল আর সেটি হলো আমাদের বিচারকগণও সবাই ঢাকায় ছিলেন না। দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে তাঁরা আমাদের সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন। অংশগ্রহণকারীদের যুক্তিতর্ক উপস্থাপন এবং আমাদের সম্মানিত বিচারকদের যথাযথ বিচারকার্যের মাধ্যমে আমরা বিজয়ী হিসেবে রোভার স্কাউট শাখা থেকে স্বদেশ মুক্ত রোভার স্কাউট গ্রুপ কে পাই। তারা তাদের যুক্তিতর্ক যথাযথভাবে উপস্থাপনের মাধ্যমে নিজেদেরকে বিজয়ী হিসেবে জাহির করে। বিজয়ী দলদ্বয়কে অভিনন্দন!!! এর পাশাপাশি সিলেট সরকারি কলেজ রোভার স্কাউট গ্রুপ রানার্সআপ হয়ে এই প্রতিযোগিতা সম্পন্ন করে। তাদেরকেও জানাই অভিনন্দন। আমাদের সম্মানিত প্রধান স্কাউট ব্যক্তিত্ব জনাব, মোঃ আবুল কালাম আজাদ বিজয়ী দলকে শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন জানান। পাশাপাশি অংশগ্রহণকারী সকল দলকেও তিনি সাধুবাদ জানান এরকম একটি কঠিন পরিস্থিতিতে যুগোপযোগী একটি আয়োজনে সামিল হওয়ার জন্য। সেই সাথে আমরা অভিনন্দন এবং ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছি সেই সকল দলকে যাদের অংশগ্রহণ ছাড়া এই আয়োজন হয়ে যেত ব্যর্থ। কখনোই সফলতা লাভ করতো না। একাত্তর মুক্ত স্কাউট গ্রুপ এর পক্ষ থেকে সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন। ধন্যবাদ সকলকে আমাদের সাথে থাকার জন্য এবং এই আয়োজনটিকে সফলতা প্রদানের জন্য। আমরা সকলের সুস্বাস্থ্য কামনা করছি। Content Writer: Walid Hassan #EkatturOpen #Covid19 #StaySafe #StayHome #EkatturDebate2020 #EkatturMediaTeam
