dengue epidemic is a serious health issue in Sri Lanka. Although the government has taken so many steps to eradicate dengue, its not 100% succsessful. In year 2019 over 99,000 causes reported and over 100 deaths reported in sri lanka. The area I live dehiwala-mount-lavania is a area that dengue cases are highly reported .The project I selected is to clean the drain lines which are not cleaned for a longer period, The garbage and empty bottles thrown out along the area were the project is carried out. My self and few friends of mine joined the project and cleaned the area and I hope we help our enviroment to be kept clean.
