Duration of this Course: 26-30 November, 2020 Participants: 43 Trainee and 15 stuffs. The 388th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course ended on November 30, 2020. The inaugural ceremony of this course was held on November 26, 2020. The five-day course was attended 35 teachers from different secondary level educational institutions of Rajshahi District Metro, two teachers from university and college level and total 43 trainees including seven rovers. This course was organized by Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Metro. Directed by Bangladesh Scouts, Rajshahi Region. The 388th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course was held at Scout Training Center, Naodapara, Sapura, Rajshahi. Md. Nasir Uddin, District Education Officer, Rajshahi was present as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function. He is the Treasurer of Bangladesh Scouts, Rajshahi Region. The course leader of this course was Saleh Ahmed, Leader Trainer, Bangladesh Scouts, Rover Region. Md. Anwar Hossain, Additional Secretary and Chairman, Rajshahi Development Authority, Md. Tariqul Islam, Secretary, Bangladesh Scouts, Rajshahi Metro and another six skilled trainers were present in this Basic Course. Md. Mamunur Rashid, Deputy Project Director, Bangladesh Scouts visited during the course. Md. Kamruzzaman, ADC, Education and ICT, Rajshahi District was present as the Chief Guest at the Camp Fire Ceremony on the 4th day of the 388th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course. Md. Anwar Hossain, Additional Secretary and Chairman, Rajshahi Development Authority and Secretary Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Region were present as the Chief Guest at the Closing and Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the course on November 30, 2020. Md. Helal Uddin, Rover Scout Leader, Rajshahi University Rover Scout Group and Local Co-ordinator, Messengers of Peace, Rajshahi District responded as trainees at the closing ceremony of the course. Addressing the trainees, he called for opening scout units in every educational institution at the secondary level of Rajshahi Metro and participating in the scout movement. Saleh Ahmed, Course Leader, 388th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course addressed the trainees at the concluding ceremony. Khandaker Shamsuddin, ALT, Regional Joint Secretary, Rajshahi Region speaks for the purpose of the trainees. Dr. Md. Zahirul Islam, secretary, Bangladesh Scouts, Rajshahi District Rover also present at the closing ceremony. The 388th Scout Leader Basic Course was concluded with the concluding remarks of the Chief Guest Md. Anwar Hossain at the closing ceremony of this course. At the end of the closing ceremony, he distributed certificates among the trainees. I was a trainee of 388th Scout Unit Leader Basic Course.
