Cleaning Campaign and Adoption of Stream

I was inspired to start the Cleaning Campaign and Stream Adoption Project to promote environmental conservation and responsibility among Scouts. It aimed to encourage Scouts to protect water sources, maintain cleanliness, and develop teamwork, leadership, and community service through practical action.
I executed the project by coordinating with the school administration, Scout leaders, and Scouts. I identified and adopted a nearby stream, briefed Scouts on environmental protection and waste management, and organized regular cleaning activities. Scouts worked in teams to remove waste, maintain the stream surroundings, and promote a sense of responsibility and ownership.
I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. The project also taught me that small, consistent actions can make a meaningful difference in protecting our environment and serving the community.
