Clean Ground: Rovers Action for Environment
Rover Scouts from Metropolitan University launched the “Shine the Ground” initiative to promote hygiene and humanity. With support from prison authorities, they cleaned visitor areas, proving that small acts of service can inspire big change.
We first obtained permission from the prison authorities and planned the activity with their cooperation. On August 2nd, ten Rover Scouts from Metropolitan University cleaned the surrounding areas of the prison, focusing on the visitor zones. We used cleaning tools to ensure hygiene and reduce health risks. The entire activity was conducted in coordination with the prison staff to maintain safety and proper order.
This project taught us that even small acts of service can create meaningful change. Collaborating with institutions like the prison authority helped us make a greater impact. It reminded us that dignity and care should be for everyone. Most importantly, we realized the power of teamwork, planning, and compassion in building a cleaner and more caring society.
