The Beighton Venturers Outfit 1012, participated on the Eco-Experience activity spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as part of the Climate Change consiousness week, the Scouts participated on varios activities such as basket weaving out of water lily plant and making of oil essences from citronella plant which is proven to be an effective insect repellant and net weaving made from coconut husks that is used in various ways, the over all experience was ended by a closing activity that encouraged scouts to brainstorm for a hashtag that will represent our over all experience on the activity, nevertheless, the activity promoted #Sustainability, which sustained its environmental sanctity and stature at the same time providing economic opportunities to the locality without compensating its environmental state.
