We are part of Scouting Ireland. 22nd Meath Donore. Our group consist of 13 Beaver Scouts, 35 Cub Scouts, 24 Scouts, 3 Venture and 12 leaders. We are a community of small villages just outside Drogheda Co. Louth Ireland. Aprox 6 miles from our Scout Den we have an old holiday camp that has been set up as a refugee camp. We plan on making posters, using social media, parents, schools, local businesses to help us gather used books to donate to the refuge centre, and also to our local schools in Co. Meath, Donore and Duleek, most of our scouts come from this area. When we are organizing to drop off our books we hope to create a relationship with the Schools and Refugee Centre that we might be able to come read to the younger kids or elderly.
