A beacon of hope for humanitarian work

As a continuation of the National Scout Meeting on Intervention During Crises and Disasters in Jordan, the project was developed. This included fostering a sense of responsibility and the importance of sharing the knowledge gained from the meeting with others, such as humanitarian work, food provision during crises, and the importance of communication during disasters and crises.

The project was implemented in the Irbid region for members of the Scouts and Guides in the schools of the Bani Kinanah Directorate... utilizing school facilities and training on evacuation procedures during disasters and crises.

The project had a significant impact on the students and participants by making them aware of their roles during disasters and crises, the importance of providing assistance to others and humanitarian work, as well as learning about the appropriate foods that individuals need during crises and disasters.

The lessons I learned through this project included the importance of humanitarian work and teamwork. I also gained valuable knowledge from the participating members, as well as developing empathy for others, especially those in crisis or disaster, and the importance of providing assistance to those in need.
