ANTI-JIGGER CAMPAIGN KENYA
We were motivated by the rising number of jigger cases in Vihiga, affecting over 300 people, including children and the elderly. As Rover Scouts committed to service, we saw the urgent need to restore dignity, health, and hope through a campaign focused on treatment, awareness, and sustainable prevention.

We learned that community involvement is key to successfully addressing health-related challenges. Many people suffer in silence due to lack of awareness and access to basic treatment. Consistent hygiene practices play a major role in preventing jigger infestations. Service projects like this strengthen teamwork, leadership, and compassion within our crew. We realized that small actions can create a big impact when done with commitment and care.
