ADDRESSING RAMPANT DROP OUT IN PRIMARY SCHOOL BOYS

ADDRESSING RAMPANT DROP OUT IN PRIMARY SCHOOL BOYS

With reference to learners who sat for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination in 2008, it was noted that most boys in primary schools along the shores of lake Victoria do not sit for the exams and those who sit for the exams rarely join secondary schools due to fishing activities, boda boda operations and goods smuggling on the Kenyan/Ugandan boarder.

It is for the above reason that we have decoded to come up with a project of possible ways to curb the issues of boy child school dropouts in Busia County, Samia – sub county, Bwiri/Nanguba zone.
