Great Independence and National Day has been celebrated in Bagerhat with due dignity. District administration, police administration, district Awami League, Bagerhat Press Club and various political and social organizations laid wreaths at the memorial on Tuesday morning. After hoisting the national flag at the Sheikh Helal Uddin Stadium in Bagerhat at 8 am, students from various educational institutions in the city, members of the police, Ansar, BNCC and Rover Scout teams paid homage to the national flag through a march past.
