We built a large Jungle Gym for Nomzamo Primary School, in our community. We tried to use as much recycled materials as we could, like an old ladder for monkey bars, we cut the rims of tyres and bolted them together to form a climbing net, we found some old net along the beach which we used for a large hammock and climbing net, old drums for running along, tyre swings and a donated slide. We also filled veggie boxes with compost and potting soil, planted two small rectangular boxes with vegetable seeds and a old tractor tyre with sweet potatoes. On the last day we erected a geodesic dome which will work as a structure to grow granadilla fruit up to provide fruit and vitamin C to the school children and will later provide shade for the children in summer and can be used as an outside "classroom" on hot days or a shady spot to sit at break time..
