
Uniting Young Leaders for a Greener Future
In an inspiring collaboration with the World Organization of the Scouts Movement(WOSM), The Bharat Scouts and Guides successfully conducted a National Level Workshop on Green Skills - focusing on Youth -Led Action on Climate Change. This event , held from August 9th to 11th, 2025, at the National Headquarters in New Delhi, aimed to equip young leaders with the tools and knowledge to tackle one of the most pressing issues of our time: Climate Change. The Workshop was attended by 30 dynamic young Participants representing various State Association namely Bihar, Delhi, Eastern Railway, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, N.F. Railway, N. E. Railway, Northern Railway, Nagaland, NHQ, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Western Railway across India. The primary aim of the workshop was to equip the participants with the skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities necessary to drive impactful climate action within their communities. Over the course of the three days workshop, the participants engaged in a variety of interactive sessions, discussions and activities.

The National Level Workshop on Green Skills – Youth Led Action on Climate Change was more than a training event—it was a stepping stone in building a youth-led movement for environmental sustainability. It cultivated collaboration, creativity, and commitment among Scouts, positioning them as proactive agents of change in the fight against climate change.
