Southern Railway State Bharat Scouts and Guides/Chennai of Tamilnadu state in India organised the 48th State Rally & 21st Camporee for four days from 27.01.2019 to 30.01.2019 and Cubs and Bulbuls Utsav for three days from 28.01.201 to 30.01.2019 at the Railway Sports Stadium, Perambur. Nearly 776 participants (cubs, bulbuls scouts, guides, rovers, rangers and adult leaders) of different divisions of Southern Railway of Tamilnadu participated in this State Rally. Various activities like standard judging competition, folk dance, quiz competition, cooking competition, fancy dress competition, patriotic song & community song singing competition, balance walk, clay modelling, handicrafts, rangoli competition, mehandi competition, games,  action song competition, camp crafts, pioneering, compass & mapping, signalling,estimation, first aid competition, march past, band display competition etc for cubs, bulbuls, scouts, guides, rovers, rangers and also for adult leaders  were conducted at different levels.  General Manager of Southern Railway and many other officials also visited the campsite and blessed the participants to create the better world environment and also appreciated the good work done by SRBSG. On the last day of the State Rally, Shields, Trophies and prizes were distributed for the winners and also for the participants. Madurai Division participated in the 48th State Rally and 21st Camporee and Cubs and Bulbuls Utsav with 95 participants and Bulbuls won Runner Shield for standard judging competition, one cub won first prize in fancy dress competition, Guide wing won third prize  in First-Aid competition & Folk Dance, Scouts and Guides team of 4 members won second prize in quiz competition. We should thank each and every member who made this rally a grand success.
