SPROUTING GREEN’S NATURE THERAPY

A Day of Nature, Art, and Climate Action On November 16th, 2024, a group of nature enthusiasts gathered at the serene Oloolua Nature Trail in Karen, Nairobi. The event, organized by the UoN Kili Scouts' Sprouting Green initiative, was a unique blend of nature therapy and climate action. Participants embarked on a guided trail, immersing themselves in the lush greenery, the soothing sounds of nature, and the breathtaking sight of the cascading waterfall. The trail led them to ancient caves, where they could feel the weight of history and the tranquility of the natural world. To express their concern for the environment, participants engaged in an art for climate action campaign. They created powerful artworks that conveyed messages of hope, sustainability, and the urgent need to protect our planet.
