On 9th May, we organized an open fire cooking at our school for scouts to showcase their skills. Open fire cooking isn't easy like we say but it's the most beneficial skills for us to know. The scouts joined their hearts and hands for this competition to showcase their skills, their hidden talents and their hard work. Around 8:20 a.m. the scouts were provided with rations for the cooking and they can only use the given rations no extra ingredients should be added in the dish, they should prepare minimum of three dishes and display it within an hour. As I observed them, they had team work, corporation and communication between themselves, their dishes were unbelievable and the smell that came through the air wow! I was impressed and proud of them. At last 10 minutes they started to display their items in the display ground and decorated very beautifully, their presentation was extremely amazing, where I was in a speechless situation. The whistle was blown at exact 9:20 a.m. and the judges went around, their expression and description of the items made the scouts proud of themselves. When everything was done their hard works were rewarded with prizes and everyone enjoyed the program, which was a success and a proud moment for us as an organizer of this program.
