Mental sickness does not only refer to those in the street or those we refer to be "mad". In kenya for every four patient one is suffering from mental health. And out of ten expectant mothers seven are mentally ill. It is to this serious and global problem that we found is necessary to establish HOME OF BRAINS, this is a facility situated in kisumu in western kenya to educate the community on brain awareness and fight stigma. Currently we are privilege to get support from the local health facility to who attend to our screened clients. The all world need to know that having mental illness cannot be differentiated from any other sickness and by fact this need to be integrated in every government health facility. In every town of city around the world we have young children and adult taking drugs and substance/ drinking alcohol without considering the fact that there action has great impact on their brain functionality. Home of brain is a center of hope and our goal is to establish a facility that will offer brain AWARENESS, REHABILITATION , THERAPY AND RESEARCH on matters of the mental disorders or sickness.
