The Scouts of Catholic extraction gathered over the weekend to inaugurate scout troops in parishes. The event which began with the Holy Mass celebrated by His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. John Ayah, the Catholic Bishop of Uyo Diocese took place at the Bishop Moynarch Hall, Catholic pastoral center, Uyo on Saturday 15th June, 2019. 5 patrons were decorated, 15 cub scouts were invested, 16 scouts were invested and 3 troops from parishes in the Diocese were inaugurated. The event event was graced by the presence of The Bishop, The chaplain, members of the state scout council and scouts of the catholic extraction. The Bishop in his remarks assured scouts of his continuous support and commissioned scouts to go to far and near parishes to spread scouting within and outside the Diocese.. Omodot Umoh WB Reporter..
