International Day of Peace
What inspired you to take up the project?
Understanding of Buddhism mostly talks about the importance of peace to others. Therefore, it inspires me to conduct the program.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Sense of competition among students, Awareness of peaceful Bhutan
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
The principal talked about the importance of peace to oneself and others, followed by student speeches on the importance of peace all over the world. Few students spoke on the importance of peace. There was an interesting debate between two young students in class four about whether peace for all is more important than peace for oneself. There were various sports competitions conducted for different class levels. Prizes were also distributed among different competitions.
