The first Wood Badge course was conducted at Gilwell Park on & from 8th September to 19th September, 1919 under the Leadership of Francis Gidney (first camp chief of Gilwell) & supervision of Lord Baden Powell (founder of Scout & Guide Movement). Exactly today 19th September, 2019 it's complete the 100 Years of the Wood Badge course, so the Officers' Colony Group under Eastern Railway,B.S&G , Kanchrapara District Association observed the Day with their Adult Leaders to spread the importance of WB & also motivate the coming Leaders to achieve their Highest Achievement of Unit Leaders (HWB).
