Youth Spiritual Tracking
Our first day in Bumthang became truly special as it coincided with the Birthday Anniversary of Terton Pema Lingpa and Manjushree, making it an auspicious occasion. Dorzin Tulku graced our youth program, sharing wisdom on Refuge and Bodhisattva vows. He also addressed important youth issues. #scout #mop
The youth group embarked on a journey to Tharpaling, and along the sacred sites, they incorporated practice sessions using the three supreme methods (starting each activity with bodhicitta, practicing without concepts, and ending by dedicating the merit).
Visiting monasteries is something that I have always done with my family; however, it was very different during that week. Having to walk for hours and suffering quite a bit (at least I did, since I had brought the wrong shoes) made me much more satisfied and appreciative of the destination.
