Young Leaders Unite for a Peace Workshop
This project is the part of the deliverable young peace builder project funded by Temasek Foundation.
The project was successfully carried out with 89 participants from across Thailand. Supported by the Temasek Foundation, the one-day event featured interactive sessions, group activities, and dialogue-based learning. Facilitators used participatory methods to introduce peacebuilding concepts, encouraging youth to reflect, engage, and apply dialogue in real-life situations. The workshop concluded with positive feedback and a shared commitment to fostering peace in their communities.
Participants learned how open, respectful dialogue can be a powerful tool for resolving conflicts and building mutual understanding. The workshop emphasized the importance of listening with empathy and without judgment—an essential skill for peacebuilding. Youth from different provinces shared diverse perspectives, helping participants appreciate cultural and regional differences.
