A Walk with God
I saw a need within my community for people searching for God and those who just need some dedicated alone time with him. Our community will occasionally organize prayer walked going through different areas or walking trails but has no place available for dedicated alone time that prompts closeness with God. I wanted to give our city that.

For my Eagle Scout project I built a prayer trail behind a newly built church in Clarksville. This is the only dedicated prayer trail withing Clarksville that allows anyone who desires to quietly walk and commune with God.
For this project I raised $17,000 in donated materials and supplies from local businesses. The trail is 650 feet in length, over 4 prayer stations and 10 dedicated seating locations throughout the trail.

I learned how to speak with strangers much better and I am much more confident in speaking with strangers than I was before. I realized I can accomplish great things if I put my heart and mind to it. My leadership ability increased and I grew closer to God as a result of working on this project.
