Together Against Waste: Creating a Cleaner Samtse
Samtse is known as the gateway for the Indian tourism to enter. Samtse is near the India Bhutan gate located this stage. Tourist will have better impressions for the country looking at first state in Bhutan visit. But it face the biggest issue of waste management as when ever we visit we come across the waste. The drains are blocked the river bank and roadside are filled with waste. So seeing this it lead our team to take action and hold the clining campaign for 2 days.
I divided the two days campaign in three difference around the samtse, tading gewog. Namely, khempagang which is located in main highway, lepchekha which is also located in main highway of phuntsholing and last is remote villages. We have clean all the drans which are directly or indirectly connected to the river and place which are always neglected by the people but the waste are easily. We gather together and discuss various way to make awareness in the stage.
I learn the lesson from this project is that we have to make our community clean or keep our community clean and have to protect the our environment to get fresh air.
