The service started on 14/07/2013 and went along till 12/10/2013.Having prayed to the almighty,we started off with our service project.The service successfully lasted for 12 continuous weeks.We found it difficult in carrying out our duties in the beginning,but we got used to it by time.It gave us different exposure.We were made to control crowds,give prasadam,clean the garden,grounds and deepams etc.. We got the priviledge of servicing during the iyyappan season when the crowd was overflowing and we had a tough time controlling the crowd and regulating them. We also had chance to take turns in selling deepams,archana tickets,coconuts,flowers etc.. All together we had a very successful service period and with a feeling of satisfaction.
