“Sustainable Goat Farming for Income Generation”

I started this project inspired by the idea of improving food security and creating a sustainable source of income through small-scale livestock farming. By raising 14 goats, I wanted to gain practical experience in animal husbandry while also contributing to better nutrition and economic growth for my family and community.
I started my project by purchasing and raising 14 goats in a small farm setup. I arranged proper shelter, clean water, and a balanced diet for them to ensure healthy growth. I also maintained regular care, vaccination, and hygiene practices to prevent diseases. Daily monitoring and management helped me improve the productivity and well-being of the goats, with plans to expand the farm gradually for better output and income
Throughout this project, I learned the importance of responsibility, patience, and consistency in animal farming. I gained practical knowledge about goat rearing, including proper feeding, hygiene, vaccination, and daily care. I also understood how small-scale livestock farming can contribute to income generation and food security. Most importantly, I developed entrepreneurial skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities while managing the farm.
