Stoptheviolenceperiod
My motivation was to join the global campaign: Stop The Violence Period as we celebrate the 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, we organized the session to break down the period stigma and taboo. This session focus on violence that stems from and connected to mensuration.
We execute this program with the support of Pragati Scout Troop Team. Girls scout from the troop helps to organize and run the program smoothly.
The session is about the period stigma and taboo, where participant get to know about wateraid, period fact and myth. Some case study girls had to face worldwide during period, some period products and ways to use them. Also, the ways to maintain period hygiene.
