Simple ways to keep our community clean.
I was inspired by our values of service and responsibility. Seeing pollution in my community motivated me to take action, set an example and encourage other to clean the environment.
First I identify the area that needs attention like lhakhang and roadsides where waste had piled up. Then I organize a small scout team to participate and only then I inform teachers. Before starting we gathered garbage bags. Then we worked together to collect and properly disposed the wastes. We assured that all the team members followed safety measures while cleaning. After cleaning activity, we ensure the area was left clean.
This project taught me to be more responsible towards environment and motivated me to continue contributing to the community services in the future.
