Scouts help at the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House
Several Cub Scouts joined forces to help at their local Ronald McDonald House by doing their part in a Feast from the Heart, a program run by the House. The House serves over 60 people every night, for little or no money in return and houses families of critically ill children in local hospitals. Most cannot leave their jobs and stay with their little ones, so the House provides that outlet for them. The group of boys (and one Heritage Girl Scout) worked to prepare a delicious Mexican themed meal for others, and learned about their civic duty in the process.
