in line to compliment the readiness of SNP (Scouts Nature Park, Sandakan) to apply as another SCENES Centre, this retreat was organized to train candidates for SNP's environment education team and park rangers. 30 Rover Scouts and 20 Scout leaders participated in this retreat which mainly consists of training on basic plant tagging, cataloguing and photo recording all plants in SNP as well added value 'Level 1 Master Documenter Certification (Hardcover Certificate Folder making)' conducted by Sabah Scouts Academy. Among significant result from this retreat are : 1) Full exploration of SNP's special Trail which resulted in the establishment of the completed documentation of SNP's "Silent Trail Jungle Trekking' and 2) Official discovery of Nepenthes Rafflesiana (pitcher plant) in SNP.
